A new default toggleable map filter is now available, which hides some icons to reduce clutter on the map. This can be toggled on and off in the “Gameplay” section of the “Options” menu. You can now do Quick Sign Casting, which lets signs be switched and cast without opening the radial menu. There are also a good amount of QOL changes implemented. Plus, Chinese and Korean voice-overs were added. There’s also additional content available-like a new side quest, an alternative appearance for Dandelion, and an alternative Nilfgaardian Armor set-which are inspired by the series’ 2019 Netflix TV series adaptation of “The Witcher.” The alternative appearances can be enabled in the Options settings for Gameplay. Plus, if you sign up for the MY REWARDS in the game, you can receive numerous cool items. Regarding online features, there is now cross-progression between platforms and your saves will be auto-uploaded to the cloud. Numerous graphical settings have been tweaked and added, as well, such as a new weather type and “ ULTRA+” PC settings. The character models got a much-needed upscale on their textures to 4K, too-and they can now cast high-resolution self-shadowing even outside of cutscenes. Popular Steam community-made mods like “The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project” and “Immersive Real-time Cutscenes” have also been allowed and included to make the graphics even prettier.
