![]() ![]() Honestly, you’ve not lived until you inadvertently crush a buddy with a glittering boulder you sent flying with a well-placed explosive. ![]() Good natured griefing is part of Temple of Osiris’ makeup and it feels more like a bomb-happy party game when its blaring with four players. Different enough to stand apart from core Tomb Raider titles, and inexpensive enough that its throwaway nature won't offend, Temple of Osiris sets its sights for a modest target and hits it with aplomb. Instead, it's a fast-paced action puzzler, energetic and accessible and while it does stumble in a few places, it manages to deliver the sort of lowbrow entertainment it promises - just the way a series borne of classic pulp serials should. It's not the next chapter in the Tomb Raider saga, and it doesn't push any boundaries in narrative or game design. The fact that Temple of Osiris features the classic, confident, adult version of Lara Croft rather than the newfangled, young, vulnerable version should tell you exactly what this game is aiming for: Simple escapism, a video game for gaming's sake. With the fate of the world at stake, Lara must recover the fragments of Osiris to stop Set from enslaving all mankind. As Lara and her companions fight the elements of nature across the sands and through ancient tombs, they will battle legendary deities and creatures of myth. In her new adventure, Lara must join forces with rival treasure hunter Carter Bell and imprisoned gods Horus and Isis, to defeat the evil god Set. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris takes place deep in the deserts of Egypt. All the while, players will compete for treasure, powerful artifacts, and ultimate bragging rights. Featuring stunning visuals and a brand-new story, players must work together to explore the temple, defeat hordes of enemies from the Egyptian underworld, solve devious puzzles, and avoid deadly traps. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and the first-ever four-player co-op experience with Lara Croft. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
